68000 To ATA interface
« on: November 18, 2013, 03:57:24 PM »

I need a little breather and thus I will do something different then what i was working at.
For the coming few weeks i'll Use my PCB skills to work out a CPU 64pins socket to IDE as was the use for Gayle.

Ive done this before and it would be a little bit redundant work for something that only would work in the PIO modes but still something to distract my mind matters that go through my head.

I limit myself severly in my choice of components and design complexity.
It should work in a A1000 A500 and A2000 (With the correct kickstart upgrade) and is pointless for a A600 who already has a gayle.

Could someone pass me a excerpt from the kickstart in which the IDE is addressed?
I Require it so i could define the datapath.(Straigth, or Swivled)

Perhaps it would best to ask Toni Wilen about it. He created the ROM Replacement so he could know
